Welcome to the Susquehanna Council Boy Scouts of America, home of Camp Karoondinha! 

The Susquehanna Council, BSA serves more than 2100 youth through the leadership of 100 adult volunteers. Scouting provides programs to youth in 5 counties in Central Pennsylvania - Snyder, Northumberland, Clinton, Union and Lycoming. The Susquehanna Council is home to beautiful Camp Karoodinha along Penns Creek in western Union County.  Four weeks each summer we provide exceptional programming to Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturers. We are building character in the youth of our communities, one boy at a time!

Susquehanna council covers all of Clinton, Lycoming, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union Counties

 Compliance with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Child Protection Clearances

PA Act 15 background background checks, clearances, and information on mandatory reporting can be found by visiting  To recharter for 2016, all registered adults will be required to complete the necessary checks.

Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Scout Shop Hours of Operation: 

Monday - Wednesday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, Thursday: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm; Closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
